The INTELLINET NETWORK SOLUTIONS Pro Series Night Vision Network Camera, Model 550314, is designed for daytime and nighttime security surveillance applications, and comes fully equipped with state-of-the-art features, setting it apart from other network cameras on the market today.
Surveillance 24 Hours a Day, Even in Complete Darkness The Pro-Series Night Vision Network Camera is equipped with an IR lens which automatically engages as the light levels drop. The camera also supports third-party IR illuminators, allowing for the surveillance of larger areas.
Superior Video Quality Because the Pro-Series Network Camera uses a CCD sensor, it provides sharp video images with dramatic lifelike color representation.
Dual Mode: MPEG4 + Motion-JEPG The Pro-Series Network Camera supports MPEG4 as well as Motion-JPEG video formats, providing superior quality and, at the same time, continuing to support existing applications (the law in most countries only accepts JPEG video format as evidence in court). MPEG4, on the other hand, allows you to transmit a larger amount of data over the same amount of bandwidth while providing smooth and seamless viewing.
Bi-Directional Audio Support Attaching a microphone and loudspeakers to the Pro-Series Network Camera will allow you to listen and talk using the two-way audio support. This is ideal for most security and surveillance applications, but can be applied to provide cost-effective video conferencing, as well.
Power over Ethernet The Pro-Series Network Camera supports the 802.3af standard, allowing it to be installed in locations where an AC power source is not readily available. Simply plug the camera into a PoE compliant switch and begin transmitting power as well as data over the Cat5e or Cat6 network cabling.
Lifetime Warranty Strict manufacturing standards ensure the highest quality in all INTELLINET NETWORK SOLUTIONS products. All items carry a full Lifetime Warranty — the strongest quality commitment anyone can make.

Added custom SMTP port option. Default port 25 can now be changed
Fixed problem related to DHCP causing the camera to reboot
Motion detection now available in QVGA mode
Fixed PLAIN authentication method for SMTP
Several fixed concerning motion detection addressed
Changes 4.74 -> 4.78:
Added frame rate parameter to image.cgi command for mode = http
Example - Frame rate = 1
http://camera_IP/image.cgi?id=guest&passwd=guest&mode=http&fr=1
Example - Frame rate = 10
http://camera_IP/image.cgi?id=guest&passwd=guest&mode=http&fr=10
Change behavior: The global frame rate parameter in the
camera's image settings is no longer being ignored when
using the image.cgi command in http mode (see 1.)
This means, that if the global frame rate is set to "5",
the M-JPEG stream will only stream at 5 fps max.
Added a new CGI command to query the alert state of the
internal event trigger.
Syntax: http://camera_IP/alert_state.cgi?id=admin&passwd=admin
Returns:
Fixed incompatibility problem with certain SMTP servers
Fixed Motion-JPEG streaming problem which could lead to
interruptions of the video stream
Removed user based frame rate control to increase overall
performance of the camera
Fixed bug concerning the NTP Server (when adding an SMTP
server, the camera time would jump forward by 30 mins).
Changes 4.2 -> 4.51:
Resolved remote viewing problem concerning NAT
and MS Internet Explorer ActiveX access
HTTP API: Added a new varibale to return the camera configuration
as an XML formatted document
http://camera_address/inquiry.cgi?id=admin&passwd=admin&inq=xm
Fixed and cleaned up existing HTTP inquiry.cgi commands
Fixed Digital I/O connector function in Event Trigger Configuration
NOTE:
1. The camera loses all settings but its IP Address during the firmware update. You need to re-configure the settings after the update is completed.
2. The new firmware demands that an updated ActiveX control (mwviewer.ocx) be installed on systems accessing the camera via MSIE/ActiveX. Administrator rights on the computer are required to do the installation (automatic installation after MSIE web browser connects to camera).
Installation instructions:
1. Download and uncompress the file CCD_wired_4.80.zip
2. Start the upgrade utility upgrade_1010.exe.
3. Refer to the included readme file for more information.
